The NIE, the non-residence certificate and the bank account are almost always needed in the same month, at three different counters, and each one depends on the one before: the bank asks for the certificate, and the certificate needs the NIE. Why this matters now
Almost every Spanish bank asks a non-resident for the non-residence certificate before opening an account, and that certificate cannot be applied for without a NIE. Done the other way round — bank first — you lose an appointment, and a lost appointment here is not recovered in a week. The package does not speed up the administration: it removes the extra trip and the appointment you had to book twice.
What this service is NOT
This package is not a gestoría and not a law firm. We do not sell appointments and we guarantee none: anyone charging you to «guarantee» a slot is selling something they cannot guarantee. Nor do we guarantee that a particular bank will accept you as a client: the bank decides that, under its own identification rules. We prepare the file and we are with you at the branch.
Questions about this service
Can I pay in two instalments?
Yes. On packages, half is paid when you accept the quote and half when the last item is delivered. It is written in the terms of engagement, along with the rest of the rules.
What if I already have a NIE?
Then this package is not for you, and we will say so before charging you anything. The first thing we always do is check whether a NIE has already been issued to you: many owners have had one since the purchase and do not know it. In that case we quote only what is missing, individually.
How long does the whole thing take?
It depends on the appointment, and we do not set the appointment. What we do control is that the file is complete on the day a slot opens, and that no missing paper forces you to book another one.
