Yes. The obligation comes from owning, not from receiving rent.

No. And the number must appear in the listing, not merely exist.

Yes, with a power of attorney that expressly authorises the NIE application.

No. A NIE identifies you; it does not show that you live here.
ReadHow do you book the NIE appointment?
Through the central cita previa system for immigration, and sometimes there is no slot.
ReadWhat documents do you bring to the NIE appointment?
Passport, the signed EX-15, the fee paid, and copies of everything.
