Which documents do I need for the modelo 210?
Two to start with: the IBI bill and the title deed.
Most people think they need a whole folder. To start you need two papers, and you already hold both.
The two indispensable ones
The IBI bill, issued once a year by your town hall: it carries the cadastral value and the cadastral reference of the property. And the purchase deed: it carries your share of ownership and the date you became an owner.
With those two, anyone can tell you whether you have to file and start work.
What is asked for later, and blocks nothing
Your personal details and your NIE, a bank account, and — if you let the property — the amounts received and the expenses you wish to deduct, with their receipts.
If the IBI bill is missing, it can be recovered. If the deed is missing, so can it. Neither is a dead end; it simply costs a few more days.
