You arrive and the house is already alive again
After months shut, a house does not open in ten minutes: stuck shutters, a closed-up smell, a cold water heater, the fridge off and sometimes a stain nobody has seen. We do it the day before you arrive, and send you the photos.

What you get
- Opening the day before you arrive: shutters up, windows open and the house aired.
- Water turned on at the stopcock, taps run for a few minutes and drains checked.
- Power, water heater and fridge switched on, and the fuse box checked.
- A full walk round looking for damp, leaks, insects or anything out of place.
- Dated photos of every room by WhatsApp, before you board.
- If something does not work, we tell you the same day and coordinate the tradesman before you land.
Why this matters now
Water that has sat for months in the pipes and the heater is not what you want for your first shower: the usual advice is to run the taps, cold and hot, before using it. And a fault found the day you arrive gets fixed, with luck, on the third day of your holiday. Found the day before, it is fixed before you open your suitcase.
What this service is NOT
We are not a cleaning company: if you want the house deep-cleaned, a cleaning company does it and invoices you itself, with the price stated first. We do not repair faults: we find them, tell you and open the house to the tradesman you approve. Groceries are paid separately, at the receipt price, which we send you.

How far ahead do I need to book?
A week is comfortable. With 48 hours we try, but then there is no margin to fix what we find before you arrive, and that is the whole point of the service.
What are the basic groceries?
What you need for the first night and the first breakfast: water, milk, bread, coffee, fruit, toilet paper and whatever you put on your list. You pay the receipt price, which we photograph for you, with no commission on our side.
And if I already have the house watched?
Then we know the house and its keys, and the step is shorter. The season package brings together closing the house when you leave, the visits while you are away and the preparation before you return, with the saving worked out in front of you.
