A car over four years old is tested every two years, and from ten years old, every year. It is easily forgotten when the car sleeps here and you do not.
What you get

Why this matters now
A private vehicle between four and ten years old is inspected every two years; from ten years, every year. Driving with an expired test is a punishable offence, and an insurer has arguments in a claim. The absent owner's car is the one that most often runs past its date, because nobody is there to see the reminder land in the letterbox.
What this service is NOT
We are not an administrative agency or a test station: we do not sign traffic formalities in your name and we do not decide whether your car passes. We prepare, book, come with you and translate. Where the operation requires a registered agent, we say so and they invoice their own fee. Repairs are done by a garage.
Questions about this service
Can you take the car yourselves?
We can come with you and, if you authorise us in writing and the insurance allows it, take it to the station. We say so case by case: we do not drive a car without first checking that the policy covers another driver.
The car is in someone else's name, does that work?
For the test itself, usually yes; for traffic formalities, almost never without an authorisation. We check before booking, which is while you have still lost nothing.
And if it fails?
You have a window to repeat the inspection at the same station at a reduced rate. We give you that deadline in writing the same day and book the second appointment at no further cost from us.
