The plumber coming on Tuesday, the neighbour who has had a copy since 2019, the brother-in-law arriving in August: a house run from abroad lives on keys that move around. We hold yours, know where they are and tell you in writing each time they go out.

What you get
- Your set of keys held under a code, with no label bearing your address.
- An inventory of the set: door, letterbox, garage, community pool, storeroom, remote and stopcock key.
- A written log of every release: who, when, what for and when it came back.
- Handover to whoever you authorise in writing: family, tenant or tradesman.
- Opening the house to a tradesman and locking up afterwards, with before and after photos.
Why this matters now
On this coast, keyholding with one or two visits a month currently costs between 250 € and 375 € a year. Here keyholding comes on its own, without visits, for those who only need the key to exist and be in good hands. And it is worth knowing before you lose one: many security keys can only be copied on presentation of the key card, which almost nobody remembers where they put.
What this service is NOT
We are not a security company nor a locksmith: we do not change locks or open doors without a key. We hand the key to nobody without your written authorisation, even family. And keyholding alone does not include inspection visits: that is what the house-watching visits are for.

Where are they kept?
In a locked key safe, identified by a code that is only matched to your name in our register. Never on a key ring with your address, and never in a car.
What if I lose the card for the security key?
Then copying gets complicated and sometimes means changing the cylinder. That is why, in the inventory, we also photograph the card if you have it, and keep it with the set.
Can I use a key safe on the door?
Yes, and we work that way if you prefer. We tell you what changes: a key safe on the facade announces that the house opens with a code, and the code must be changed after each use. We do that and let you know.
