Cl@ve and Spanish digital certificate for foreigners
In Spain everything is done online. And you do not have the key
Immigration appointments, road tax, tax office notifications and almost everything a town hall will ask of you run on Cl@ve or on a digital certificate. Without them you are blind; with them, almost nothing requires you to turn up in person.
What you get
- Cl@ve activated, with whichever registration level your case requires.
- The digital certificate installed on your phone and on your computer.
- A backup copy of the certificate, kept by you and only by you.
- The three things you will actually use, done with you the first time.
- A one-page crib sheet in your language, for when you come back in October and cannot remember.
Why this matters now
Immigration appointment slots sell out in minutes and are booked online. The Spanish tax agency notifies electronically. The town hall publishes and warns on its electronic notice board. A foreign owner without a digital identity depends on someone else reading for them — and that someone is not always there.
What this service is NOT
We never keep your password or your certificate. Not a copy, not 'just in case'. When the session ends the credentials are yours and yours alone, and that is written on the receipt we give you. This service does not include carrying out procedures in your name: we give you the key and we teach you to use it.
Questions about this service
Can it be done remotely?
Yes, by video call, with you sharing your screen. We never take control of your machine: we tell you where to click.
Do I need a NIE?
Yes. Cl@ve and the certificate are issued against a NIE or a DNI. If you do not have one yet, that comes first, and we tell you how and where even though you make the application yourself.
What if I lose my phone?
That is exactly why the session ends with the backup and the crib sheet. With that backup you reinstall it in twenty minutes; without it you start from zero.

We answer the same working day, in your language. And if your case is not for us, we say so and tell you who to go to.
