The pool gets checked before you need it
A private pool that has spent months with nobody around can be perfect or green, and from the plane you cannot tell. Found out on the day you arrive, the pool company comes when it has a slot, and in season it has few. We look beforehand, with photos.

What you get
- The colour and clarity of the water, with a dated photo from the same spot every time.
- The water level against the skimmer, and any visible loss in the pool shell or surround.
- The pump running, the timer set right and the filter pressure gauge photographed.
- The skimmer and pre-filter baskets emptied of leaves and insects.
- A test-strip reading, sent to you exactly as it reads, for you or your pool company.
- If something is wrong, an alert the same day, in time for the professional to come.
Why this matters now
Pool water changes quickly when the pump stops: a power cut, a tripped switch or a timer that lost its setting is enough. With the house shut, nobody sees it. Checked a week ahead, any problem can be fixed before you arrive; checked on the day, it eats your first week.
What this service is NOT
We are not pool technicians: we add no chemicals, we do not balance the water and we do not repair the pump. We look, test with a strip and tell you with photos; the treatment is done by your maintenance company or one you choose, which invoices you directly. Community pools are run by the community and are not covered here.

Why two visits?
Because the first finds the problem and the second checks it has been solved. There is a week between them, which is what a pool company needs in season to come round, and what treated water needs to clear again.
Can you recommend a pool company?
If you already have one, we work with yours and send them the photos if you ask. If you do not, we tell you in writing how to choose one and what to ask; you hire them yourself, directly, and they invoice you.
And the pool while I am away?
If you have the house visits, the pool is already part of each one: we check the water, the level and the pump, and tell you if anything changes.
